The Best Thing About Skiing: Meeting passionate people, discovering new mountains, pushing my personal limits, the sense of achievement, making huge powder turns and catching big air with my friends.
The Worst Thing About Skiing: Injuries
The Best Training For Skiing: biking, plyometrics, skydiving, BASE jumping and any cardio workouts.
Worst Injury from Skiing: Full knee reconstruction.
What is freeskiing for u? It means exploiting every feature on the terrain and using it to your advantage. In other words, freeskiing means charging anywhere, anytime and making it look good!
Is freeskiing evolving and what are the trends u see coming next season? Freeskiing is reinventing itself. People are getting back into the backcountry and exploring new areas such as speedflying and ski BASE jumping. The whole mountain is becoming a big playground. I want to ski EVERYTHING!
Is style important? I think style is as important as courage. You can do something gnarly but it has to be aesthetic. Both concepts are necessary.
Describe a perfect day on the mountain, no limits, just dreaming: Blue bird day in Alaska or the Alps, helicopters, deep, cold powder with a stable snowpack, all my friends together, huge cliffs and a bunch of parachutes packed and ready to go!
Favorite Music: Punk and Metal mainly (but my secret love is Broadway musicals).
Favorite Band: White Zombie (and Cats...shhhhhh-don't tell).
Favorite Movie: Pushing the Limits (my mum was so pissed that I went to the theatre to see this 4 times that she wouldn't let me own the video).
Favorite Ski Flick: Focused.
Video Game System: The first Nintendo! O.G. Mario Bros. this game was SICK!
Other Toys: Surfboards, parachutes, wingsuits, mountain bike, skateboards
Other Sports/Activities: Surfing, BASE jumping, skydiving, mountain biking, hiking with my dogs, and snowblading in my hot pink thong!
