Worst Injury from Skiing: staph infection I acquired while having my knee fixed in a dirty French hospital….I almost lost my leg as a result and it put me down for over 2 years
What is freeskiing for u? it’s like being an artist and the mountain is my canvas
Is freeskiing evolving and what are the trends u see coming next season? I am constantly amazed at where the level is going now with freeskiing…..hopefully avalanche transceivers are getting better with technology and cost less…as we all get further out into the back country with better fatter skis it is becoming more dangerous…..I’d also like to see the kick ass blaster make a come back!
What is Dalbello for you ? The IL Moro T is what I ride and it is like no other boot out there….the flex pattern and the feel dalbello gives me to feel the ski under foot is truly unique in the market.
Describe a perfect day on the mountain, no limits, just dreaming: Well tomorrow we are flying in a single engine plane from Truckee , California with Kevin Quinn and Jason Mack to buzz the top of Mount Shasta then land down at the base……hitch hike up to the snow line and start skinning up the glacier route…….that sounds dreamy…..I’ll let ya know how it goes! It’s June 29th and the snow conditions are incredible.
